For me I have to renew H-1 visa every year wich will be same as EAD/AP. Each time I would go for H-1 visa I will be stuck for security clearance making me stay outside US without work for unknown number of months which is the worst experience that can happen to anyone not the grey area of AOS.
But to get EAD/AP I do not need to step outside US neither do I need to wait for security clearance and I hope to travel home when I want.
So to me EAD/AP is better than H-1visa.
If I get EAD/AP can I go for H-1 stamping?

Imagine if Uncle Sam held an auction to allow you to submit I485 EAD AP, what would you have bid for the right to submit?
Maybe $640, $6,400, or even $64,000?
If Uncle Sam charged a fee to submit now rather than waiting for another year or two or three... What would you have paid to submit I485 and get EAD AP AC21?
Alternatively, how much are you going to benefit from EAD AP or AC21?
AC21 -- maybe ability to move jobs and get a few thousand $ pay rise?

You needn't have a rejection to be part of the lawsuit.
You can pretty much rely on their revised bulletin and convince the court that your application was/will be rejected and be part of the lawsuit.
I guess USCIS is getting pretty smart. To be a plaintiff in the lawsuit, your application has to get rejected. By holding your application, it is probably preventing you to be a plaintiff. Smart F***ing A**es

I paid 100 USD to my attorney, just to reply to a small RFE. I think that is how it works.
I got soft LUD on 4/10 and a hard LUD on my wife's application on 4/13. My attorney recd the RFE today and informed that USCIS is requesting evidence of my marriage to be bonafide.
My attorney is asking for additional legal fees for replying to RFE. Gurus, do you think I should pay to the attorney or can I just reply to USCIS with evidence?

Any of the guys who got these LUDs , was your 485 application transferred from say Vermont or CA to TSC or NSC and if so, did the Transfer Notice have a different Receipt date ?
Everyone who got these LUDs(because of pre=adjudication) has a Receipt date which is in line with the Service Center's Processing timeframe.
During the July fiasco, they were moving applications around so that they can receipt them faster.
The reason I ask is, my 485 receipt date from Vermont is 7/29/07. Then it was transferred to TSC and the Transfer Notice had a receipt date of 10/1/2007. I am wondering which receipt date they'd consider.
Anxious because I had a Change of address (200 miles) and so expecting a RFE.

Since you don't have faith in IV and don't want to contribute...what are you doing here? When and If IV acheives result will you then remove money from your wallet? Also, ur goals other than getting ur green card does not match with IV's goal, so stop using "we" say "i".
No problem you can feel exactly how you want...i think the issues you and others have is beacuse u want to know what is happening with the funds. I agree on that point that we all come from india and having faith in any charity org is hard. But, you have to think beyond your myopic view. These people just like you have a full time job,they are equally frustrated with GC process and they have a lot to loose if they are caught in a criminal activities. So, tell me why would they throw away all that they have worked for to get a few thousand dollars from you all.People get shocked saying where did the 200K go?
